Need towing in Dandridge? Call (865) 606-6676 and describe where the vehicle is stopped, especially at a lake-access point or on a sloping driveway. Say whether a trailer is attached and whether the vehicle can roll.
Dandridge is on Douglas Lake and the calendar shows in the calls. Trailer work and lake access through the summer, then a quieter run of ordinary breakdowns the rest of the year.
The town itself is old and the streets near the center are narrow, with some short steep grades down toward the water. That is a real constraint on which truck can do what.
How the roads run around Dandridge
I-40 runs just north of town and the exit there is our usual way in. Highway 25/70 carries the local traffic and connects toward the lake and on toward Newport.
The roads down to the water are steeper and tighter than the map suggests, and after rain the unpaved sections near the access points are not somewhere a heavy truck should go.
Can you get down to a boat ramp on the lake?
Usually, and it depends on the ramp and the weather. Tell us which access point you are at and we will say honestly whether we can bring a truck down or need to winch from higher up.
My car is in a lot in town with tight access.
Say so on the phone. Some of the older lots here have one narrow entrance and a wrecker needs somewhere to line up before it can load anything.
