For towing in Oak Ridge, call (865) 606-6676 with the vehicle location and any entry restrictions. If it is behind a security gate, confirm the property’s access requirements before arranging collection.
Oak Ridge is unlike anywhere else we cover, because a good deal of the land here is federal and access is controlled. A vehicle inside a secured area is not something we can simply drive in and collect.
Outside the controlled areas it is ordinary suburban work: batteries, lockouts, flats, and cars that will not start in a workplace parking lot at the end of a shift.
How the roads run around Oak Ridge
The Oak Ridge Turnpike is the main east to west route and carries most of the traffic. Illinois Avenue connects through the middle of town. The roads out toward Melton Hill and the ridges are narrower and darker than people expect after sundown.
Getting here from Knoxville usually means Pellissippi Parkway, and that route is what determines our arrival time more than the distance does.
My car is in a controlled-access area. Can you get it?
Not on our own. Site security has to clear the truck and the driver in, and that has to be arranged through whoever runs the facility. Start there and we will work to whatever they set up.
I locked my keys in the car at work. How long is that?
A lockout is usually quick once the truck arrives. Tell us the year, make and model, since some newer vehicles need a different approach than a standard entry tool.
